Belle's opened its doors as a fine dining restaurant in July 2005.  Owners Nancy and John created Belle's to provide local residents with an upscale alternative to the many chain restaurants in the Westford area.  The inside of the building has been renovated to provide a cozy and elegant setting for patrons to relax and pamper themselves while enjoying great food and drink.  The ambience is comfortable and warm without pretension, and staff members are friendly and eager to provide great service.  Belle's has three distinct dining areas-the "booth room" also known as the "dining car," the "fireplace room," and the "dining strip" with a selection of tall bistro tables as well as booths.  It also has amazingly comfortable seating at its small, intimate bar.

The Bistro is named after the owners' affectionate and sweet Bernese Mountain Dog, Belle.  Belle has become quite a favorite of many patrons, and oftentimes reservations for dinner may include a request to see Belle.

Belle's Bistro's new American cuisine is prepared by award-winning Chef Alan Lantz.  Formerly of the Starfish Grill, Common Man Restaurant, Richard's Bistro, Piccola Luna, The Pillar House, and the Colonade Hotel Boston. Chef Lantz graduated at the top of his class at the Culinary Institute of America in New York.  Each night Chef Lantz prepares house-made soups, appetizers, entrees, and desserts to the appreciation of Belle's customers.
